On 4th August, 2007, WCS was involved in training 10 Mandarin-speaking volunteers for a one-day workshop based on the “Teachers for Tigers” manual. The training was organized by the Malaysian Conservation Alliance for Tigers (MYCAT), of which WCS is a partner. Volunteers went through a variety of activities, including talks on threats to tigers in Malaysia, their conservation and fun activities to learn about their ecology, targeting schoolchildren.
